What to Bring:
- Sack lunch for Friday
- Pocket knife
- Hand lens
- Basket or bucket to collect mushroom samples
- Sturdy hiking shoes (or Rubber boots)
- Coffee mug and water bottle (to bring into the field).
- Please wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the prevailing weather (Bring layers for variable conditions.)
- Sleeping bag, or sheets and blankets
(Note: Bedding sets, including a pillow, pillow case, sheets, and comforter, are available for rent for an additional fee)
- Towel
- Alarm clock
- Toiletries
- PJ /
Slippers
- Warm jacket
- Windbreaker or coat
- Warm hat
- Mittens (warmer than gloves)
- Warm socks
- Small flashlight
- Rain jacket and rain pants (more effective than a poncho)
- Notepad with pen or pencil
- Daypack
