Robert Burns, of Envision Homes, will discuss sustainable building using the five critical LEED (Leadership in Economic and Environmental Development) components: site development, water conservation and protection, renewable energy and energy efficiency, resource and material efficiency, and health and indoor air quality.
He will be accompanied by two co-presenters.
David Vollan is owner of Home Performance Inc., an energy auditing, and insulation/air sealing retrofitter. David is well versed in renewable energy retrofits and high performance energy equipment. He is also the Education Chair for the NW Ecobuilding Guild.
Doug Kennedy is with Pathway Construction, a West Seattle based leader in indoor air quality retrofits and remodels, especially geared towards folks with chemical sensitivities. Doug has been very involved with the ALA’s Heathy House training.
